How Does The Locks On The Lockers Work?

THe locks on the middle school are a tad difficult to open! How do they work? I know you like turn it left then right… ? Im clueless. So advice and and a pair of instructions would be great!

first clearit by r turnnin it to the right a few times
then go to the first number turningit right
then go to the second number going left but you have to skip it once
then the third number turning it to the right

Spin several times to reset. Turn right to the first number. Then turn left past the second number, stopping on it the second time around. Next, turn right to the third number.

Spin the lock a few times to refresh it.
Lets say your combination is 12-23-39
First, spin it to the right to 12.
Then, go left to 23.
Then right again and make a full circle til tou get to 39!
