It depends your car. If you have expensive cars or German cars dealers are your best bet because they are specialy made. Also many American and Japan high end cars also comes with special key system. So you have to go to the dealer to get the keys. If its ordinary American cars and if its honda or toyota, you can try both ways.
It is always safe with Dealers because you have to know a trust worthy locksmith to get the keys. You never know in age and time.

Call 24 Hour Locksmith. They can fix ya up. Ask for Rico. For your Correct information, locksmiths do cars. Some locksmiths do ONLY cars. I do 75% cars since dealers have started going belly up.
An automotive locksmith is as capable as any dealer to make keys…it doesn’t matter if the car is German, Japanese, Korean, or any other nationality. Dealer only just isn’t fact any longer.

go to dealer, they can cut a key form your VIN #. FYI, locksmiths don’t do cars..
