We are all consumed to the fullest with our day to day operations, the common saying is that there aren’t enough hours in the day to accomplish all that we set to achieve.Security is definitely a main issue for any business success or lack of. But who has the time to really deal with something that appears, not directly connected to the the business target and agenda. In this article I would like to demonstrate how a simple change like an access control system can help any business strive and how an access control system will help manage employees and clear many hours to deal with the really important issues and achieving the business goals with more ease and efficiency.
You run a busy company, you employ dozens maybe hundreds or even thousands of employees, you set up an organizational structure to help run the company efficiently and simply because you can not be in more than one place at the same time. With all that said you want to know your self who does what and where. An access control system will help you accomplish exactly that. You install the system on the perimeter doors and sensitive access interior doors, you will distribute cards to all employees with restrictions which doors they can use which not. That will allow you to access a computer from any where in the world and know when everyone showed up to work and in which areas they have been, and maybe areas that they attempted to access but didn?t have permissions to.
An access control system will save you money and protect your business from unauthorized access. If employ temps at different periods of the year you don?t have to worry about them coming back after their term ended. You simply deactivate their cards or codes. It also protects you at the same manner from disgruntled employees that were let go, or those who left on their on merit, without the expense or the headache of changing locks.
When you are planning to employ an access control system you need to plan ahead.First and more importantly which doors should I choose to restrict access to?For example; the entrance doors, the Server and MIS doors, or other rooms that have sensitive documents or cash. Secondly, You need to decide who gets access to which rooms at what time? You for example will have full access to all rooms and no one but the MIS department will have access to the server room Etc? If your planning is correct and executed to the fullest. The access control system will make your business much easier to manage much more efficient and most impotently secure, with a complete piece of mind.
