Why is proximity important? because the most common place you first realise you’ve lost your keys is just at the front door. So a trusted neighbor or if you work close by to your house then your office is an ideal place too.
Third and most importantly, the last location you should keep a spare key at is on your partner or family member. In this way a spare key to your house is just a phone call away and can reach you in no more than a couple of hours tops. Don’t trust yourself, time to trust others, just give them the chance you’ll see they won’t let you down.

Getting locked out of your house or car is never convenient to say the least, just remember, taking it easy can save you a lot of hearache and money.
