Unlocking And Locking A Car Without A Transponder Key?
2 Comments | Posted by admin in Transponder
OK, so I own a Rover 216 SLi 1997. Just wondering if there’s a way to unlock/lock the car without relying on a transponder key. Surely there must be, because why put a lock on a door if you can’t even unlock it?? At this moment I’m only able to unlock/lock the car using the transponder so was hoping there was a way around this. Cheers =)

look for a trim cover around the door handle that may be removed to expose a manual lock cylinder for a key

use the ignition key retard. duh
