I paid a locksmith 145$ to unlock my car (rip off) and I want to know what the general consequences of sending the bill to my AAA insurance company.
Also, what do you need to include in the envelope in order to mail the bill to AAA? (information wise, forms, signatures, etc..)

Nightmare!!
A set of keys to my car were stolen. I still have one set. To have the car Re-Keyed is $800.00.
My insurance says they would only cover the cost of the key itself (50.00) not the re-keying.. Under comprehensive. Should they cover this???
I also had aprox. $1000.00 in personal belongings stolen.
The car is brand new, only 2 months old, broken into in my driveway. The keys still had the dealer tag with model and vin # on them.
My insurance rep says it’s not worth filing a claim since it’s a relatively small amount. Although I have a small deductible.
