One Lock To Many Keys? Is It Possible To Have Many Different Keys (2000) That Will Unlock One Lock?
7 Comments | Posted by admin in Lock
I know it is possible to have one master key that will unlock 2000 different locks, but is the opposite possible. Can I get a “master lock” made?
I live in Maine in an apartment. Our only lock on our front door is one of the ones you push in the little button to lock it. To break in all you have to do is unscrew this little thing on the outside of the door and slide a card in. (we’ve had to do it once)
And that scares me.
I just read somewhere that it’s required by law that there are three locks (doorknob or handle lock, deadbolt and chain/lever). Is that true?
