In modern world of high speeds the most precious resource is time. Never-ending rushes to get forgotten documents, going to faraway places only to show the customer what button to click and many other small nuisances of the kind require long runs and consume our precious time.
As a result software companies started developing remote PC control programs that would save the time and raise labor efficiency. Basic feature of such software products is ability to control remote desktop with a local mouse and keyboard just as if one were sitting at the remote PC. However the main drawback of greater part of remote control solutions is that they are developed mostly for IT specialists and private users simply have no time and desire to make all the necessary network settings to connect to a remote PC over the Internet.
Marketing researches show that products requiring minimum of network settings will meet home and business users’ expectation of easy remote desktop access. During the installation user simply creates an Internet Account which unites 2 PCs. Remote control is possible right after the software modules are installed. User starts Admin module, selects the necessary Host, clicks “Connect” and remote desktop is displayed on the local monitor.

New Frontiers of Remote Access – Computer Network Helping Hand
0 Comments | Posted by admin in Lock
How many times a day does a system administrator wish he had an opportunity to watch a live color image of what is going on at any network computer in real time? A sysadmin of a corporate network certainly has his hands full. Giving a helping hand to the employee who is having a technical problem at any given moment is probably one of the most important demands of being an admin, and the most time consuming. So anything that makes the job of remote troubleshooting easier and more effective will probably be welcomed. One technological enhancement that fits that bill is a new software system called Anyplace Control (http://www.anyplace-control.com). Developed by Anyplace Control Software Inc., the program allows a network sysadmin to monitor and control any remote PC in a network giving remote access computer with no need to stand up and walk to the physical location of the specific PC.
The system consists of Admin and Host modules that should be installed on the local computer and a remote one. The product requires both computers to be hooked to each other via the Internet or a LAN. The connection between these PCs can be established in two ways, either via an IP address or a DNS name or over the Internet using an account name and a nickname. In the latter case, the account type of connection allows bypassing routers and firewalls automatically granting remote access computer. Moreover it isn’t necessary to open any ports on the firewall that allows to keep a significant security level. So there is no need neither for users nor for admins to tweak network tuning at all which makes the program an easy to implement one.
After installing the program, administrator just goes about his everyday activities without doing anything special. At any moment, he can start Anyplace Control to get an easy remote access computer in a network, and if there is a need to help a remote user, takes control over remote computer, with his mouse and keyboard as if he were sitting in front of it. admins can move the necessary files between PCs, install new software, restart and shut down remote workstations and do anything else that one would normally do at the local workstationcomputer.
Spheres of Product Application
Anyplace Control is a reasonable alternative to Virtual Private Networks (VPN). Corporate computer networks which are located in the same or different countries can be consolidated into a single common network. Company employees can have full remote access to the necessary PCs of the other branch through the secure communication channel provided by Anyplace Control.
A special helpdesk edition of Anyplace Control enables help-desk specialists to provide remote tech support via the Internet or LAN to the customers who cannot resolve PC failures on their own. A technician can have easy remote access to the customer’s desktop and fix any issue on the remote machine rapidly (reducing the general cost of the help-desk services to the end user).
Corporate networks aren’t the only sphere of product deployment. White collars may find Anyplace Control useful while going to the business trips and taking part in meetings. Such unpleasant situations as missing PowerPoint presentations happen not so rarely as one may think. But issues of such nature are far less annoying when using Anyplace Control. Keeping the laptop open, click on the Anyplace Control icon and get full remote access to the home or office PC established over the Internet. Remote desktop displays the data as you left it, so it is pretty easy to browse to the folder where the presentation is saved, copy the missing file to the laptop using the file transfer option in Anyplace Control or simply start the presentation on remote desktop and let the others watch it on the laptop screen.
Using Anyplace Control, an individual can help relatives and friends to resolve computer issues without leaving the comfort of home chair. The product is also a tool for sharing files with friends. Transferring music, photos or documents directly to the friend’s computer is easy with Anyplace Control.
With Anyplace Control each user, either a home or a corporate one, can find the product meeting to only one’s requirements but budget as well.

How Much Would It Cost To Add Power Locks & Keyless Remote Entry To A 2007 Chevy Aveo?
3 Comments | Posted by admin in Lock
I just bought my car, and it was a steal for only $7,000. The only problem is that I have no power locks or windows, I can live without the windows but, I just dont like having to unlock my passenger’s doors all the time. I really do love my car, and it’s my first one, so I’m already attached.
Also, I couldn’t afford power locks or windows, but I might be able to manage adding them. Thanks in advance to anyone who helps!!
In 1983 this was a question millions of people were asking car manufacturers around the country. However if this is the first time you’ve heard of the Automotive Keyless Entry Remote System, let us explain. Have you ever seen someone walking to their car and push a button on their key ring to unlock the doors? That’s all that we’re talking about here, but having the technology for it in the early eighties was simply fascinating.
So How Does It Work?
Basically it all works by broadcasting radio waves from your remote system to the vehicle. While this is standard in many different technologies out there today, back then it was simply a new innovation. In today’s world there are specific encryptions which will keep hackers from trying to intercept the signals and ultimately steal your vehicle.
Without going into all the computerized technology these Keyless Entry Remote Systems will open and lock your vehicle’s doors. They can also open the trunk or even sound an alarm if you notice someone snooping around your vehicle. Anytime you push one of the buttons on your key fob, you can expect the car to make an alternate noise or visual. It may be the sound of the horn beeping a couple times, flashing headlights, or even the hazard lights turning on and off. This keeps you from continuously pushing the buttons and possibly damaging the system.
Popularity and The Future
Over the years car companies have realized the popularity of Keyless Entry Remote Systems. It seems that almost every new car purchased today is presented with key fobs to make your life easier. In fact around 85%-90% of vehicles made are required to implement this technology in the new vehicles due to competitors. Eventually you will see all of them providing this to consumers around the world.
Newer versions have more features available like telling you the car is low on fuel. Others may let you know when the vehicle doesn’t have the correct air pressure in your tires, which translates into decreased gas mileage. Then of course there are RKE systems that can start your car in the morning to warm it up before work. Everything is gearing society towards the future as well as helping everyone combat car theft. All of these benefits wrapped into one remote, who would have guessed it right?
The Possible Downfall
The only downfall to these devices is simply preference. Some systems have the buttons sticking out where they could accidentally be pressed while in your pocket. Then of course if you own an older vehicle and want to integrate a Keyless Entry Remote System into it, a lot of time and knowledge is needed to set up the wiring. Definitely something you might want an expert to do for you.
When it’s all said and done the future is here and has been for several years regarding Keyless Entry Remote systems. Making our daily lives easier is what technology is all about.
