I have a vauxhall frontera and want to order a spare immobiliser key for it. The immobiliser was factory fitted approx 10 years ago, my local vauxhall dealer couldnt help and I have found a website called bi-automotive in Germany that supplies them, but the instructions to programme the key is in German. Does anyone know if someone in UK could help? Would be grateful for help on this.

I have one key already not sure it is the original key?

or I can bring it to the dealer they will charge 100 dollars to progam it. can I just bring the key to a locksmith and have it cut, then bring the key to the dealer and tell them its the original and it just stopped working (act dumb) or will they know I would be lying?

OK, so I own a Rover 216 SLi 1997. Just wondering if there’s a way to unlock/lock the car without relying on a transponder key. Surely there must be, because why put a lock on a door if you can’t even unlock it?? At this moment I’m only able to unlock/lock the car using the transponder so was hoping there was a way around this. Cheers =)

I’m considering purchasing a salvage 2007 BMW 325i. The car would NOT come keys. So as I understand it, I can POSSIBLY get BMW to create a new set of transponder keys with the VIN information (with considerable hassle and expense).
Can I just get the ignition (?)/starter(?)/keys(?) with a regular old-style, non-computerchipped components?
Which method would be cheaper/easier?

I need to make copies all the time because the people don’t want to go to the dealer because, first they need to make an appointment, second it is too expensive and my costumers get frustrated then don’t want to do the work. Bad
I just want to find a way to provide better service.
