I recently had someone pick the lock on my front door and actually get in. I was home, and when they realized I was, they left; I’m terrified now. I know I can get a deadbolt that only locks from the inside and there’s no access to it from the outside, so it’s only effective when I’m home. What would be the best kind of lock that I can open from the outside as well? Thanks so much for any advice!

Would a keylogger still log the keystrokes when a vista user locks the computer. So I’ll be running it, and then the person on it locks the computer, not logging off but just locking it. Would it log the key strokes on the user login page?

I just bought my car, and it was a steal for only $7,000. The only problem is that I have no power locks or windows, I can live without the windows but, I just dont like having to unlock my passenger’s doors all the time. I really do love my car, and it’s my first one, so I’m already attached.
Also, I couldn’t afford power locks or windows, but I might be able to manage adding them. Thanks in advance to anyone who helps!!

Any guesses as to how much it’d cost to have a locksmith come and open the safety security box at a bank? My parents lost the key and the bank doesn’t have a spare key to the security box, it has my birth certificate and social security card in it. :-\

I don’t know what type of locks are used, nor do I know how to find the model number to look it up. All I know is that it’s a green, 22.5″x18″x18″ safe with a key and a combination that I found by the dumpster.

I own a 1997 Chrysler Town & Country, the locks work fine but they continually lock and unlock occasionally. I would say every 3 min they lock but it varies. I don’t know if it also does it when I leave the car.
